Some Ideas for Wedding Favors
If you are planning your wedding in the near future, don't forget to start organizing your wedding favors as soon as possible. Luckily, you will almost be spoilt for choice so you won't have to worry too much about having a problem deciding what to go for. This is important because it can take a great deal of stress when you realize the big event is rapidly approaching and these haven't been organized.
An easy wedding favor option is flowers which really don't take much to arrange but guests can enjoy. There is virtually no preparation involved in this and depending on how many guests you have you may not have to order them well in advance.
A symbol of love, the red rose is one of the more popular choices and they do not require much preparation. It is a simple matter of asking one of your family to place the roses just before everyone is seated at the wedding reception table.
Although candy might be an easy wedding favor, it is immensely popular and with almost three out of every four weddings using it, often placed in a specially designed box. A simpler but possibly more interesting method is to present the candy that does away with expensive centerpieces altogether. All you require to make this successful is to use a large glass bowl and fill it with all your favorite candy for the guests to enjoy.
To complete this idea, a small plain bag or carton can be left for each wedding guest to put their candy into. This could be called a self service gift because all you have to do is supply the candy and something to place it in.
Pictures frames can also work well especially if they are used as place card holders. This is a good idea but wrapping this type of wedding favor can put many people off especially when there are a large number of guests. For this to work you need to make things simple so why not save having to wrap the gifts by using them as placeholders; and who would anyone blame you?
One final idea for a very easy wedding favor is to give each guest a digital photo of themselves at the reception by hiring a photographer to take a picture of each couple as they arrive at the wedding reception. The photos can be printed out whilst the reception goes on and the guests will have a pleasant surprise at the end of the evening when they leave as their photo will be waiting for them. As most wedding photographs are in groups, a photograph with just one couple at a time showing them at their best would be a welcomed wedding favor. Many photographers will also have a projector so could arrange a looping slide show of all the photos he had taken of the guests.
